Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born August 9th, 1976 from Beaumont Puy de Domme. Her parents, who were a dentist as well as a teacher at school were supportive and encouraged by her passion for acting and theater. Her initial dream to be a monkey expert was replaced by a desire to pursue a degree in theater and drama. Early success and a rapid rise in fame was a sign of her development as an actor. Following her studies in 1998 she took part in a French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers that was supported by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before beginning her acting career in earnest. Tautou attended the Institut Catholique de Paris, attended church when she was a child and was educated Catholic. But she is now separating herself from this background. Modeling and acting have been interspersed. She became the face for L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and she is often known as The Chanel Muse. She also has a serious photographic passion and has recently exhibited her work during the Arles Festival, titled Superficial. She focuses her photography on celebrities, fame and the media who scrutinized her following her rise to fame as Amelie. Also, she has several photographs that show herself. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and fame with her starring role in Le Fabuleux Destin of Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a global success in the field of box office, and won awards around all over the world. Amelie was the highest-rated film that is French-speak in the US. After this huge success, Tautou went on to star in many films such as British dramatics, such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. Tautou also appeared alongside Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
